Here's a fun poem about imagining by my blog partner, Linda Eve Diamond, inspired by the IMAG_NE sculpture of artist Emma Anna, along with a mini-sculpture made from our scrabble set to look like the original!
I wanted to IMAG_NE myself in the sculpture, so I posed for a special photo, too! You can see mine below the poem...
IMAG_NE
By Linda Eve Diamond
One day the little i in the middle of Imagine
began to imagine itself traveling the world.
Imagine.
A small i feeling cramped
in an infinite word.
After a while,
the little i left home.
Imag_ne.
The ultimate open space
waiting for you
to step through
or stand inside.
Imag_ne yourself
as the i.
What will you see
from the heart
of Imag_ne?
What will you
Imagine?
What do you think of my photo? Can you tell I'm looking off and imagining?
I hope you enjoyed the poem and photo!
Thanks and bear hugs to Emma Anna for creating such an imag_native sculpture!!!
